Today’s episode is devoted to a segment in the Mystic access magic castle. We were delighted to chat with Kesel Wilson, editor and programs manager with National Braille Press. Kesel shares about NBP’s founding, its mission and goals, and about the many departments that make the organization run smoothly, thereby providing us with so many braille books and other braille materials.
In addition to sharing about her own varied job responsibilities and the things she loves about her position, Kesel discusses some of the innovative programs available especially for blind children and their parents, including Read Books, the Children’s Braille Book Club, and Great Expectations. We also discuss two NBP magazines, and several books in some detail, including those which we at Mystic Access have had the pleasure of co-creating. To learn more about NBP, you may visit their website, or click here to go directly to their book store. we love this awesome organization, and think you’ll find a lot to love about it, too.
