A Change of Scenery

We have a lot of fun demos and updates to share in this episode. First, we continue our discussion of the Windmill fan we set up and demoed in the previous episode. We show you how it works with Alexa and Google and share our thoughts after using it for a couple weeks.

Our fan wasn’t the only purchase we recently made to bring more comfort to our home sweet home. We also bought a Levoit air purifier that works with Alexa, and works wonders on our breathing during all these allergies. Note that if you purchase the purifier via the above link, we’ll receive a small commission from Amazon. We never recommend items we don’t use and love ourselves. We provide a tour of the associated iOS app, which is extremely accessible and useful. Hope you enjoy our demo and thoughts.

We’ve talked quite a lot about Alexa during this episode thanks to its smart home capabilities. We’re very excited to let you know that we have updated audio documentation on the screenless Amazon Alexa products. This newly-created documentation focuses on what you can do strictly using your voice, although we do visit the app for a couple of sections where it is necessary. If you already bought previous incarnations of our Echo documentation, you have access to this at no cost to you. Just log into your Mystic access account and redownload the DAISY or MP3 version. If you like the new documentation and feel it has added value to your life, we gratefully accept your financial gifts in any amount. There’s absolutely no obligation to make a gift. We also so appreciate when you spread the word about our products to those whom you feel may benefit. Thanks in advance, and we really hope you enjoy this new Alexa documentation!

Finally, we continue on with our Alexa topic by discussing routines. What are they and how can they benefit you? We provide some ideas and examples.

Hope you enjoy the episode! Thanks for being part of our community; we appreciate you!
