Oliver’s Revenge

If you’ve been with us for any length of time Chris’s love for robot vacuums will be no secret to you. Those who listened to our last episode will know that we’re spending time at our summer home. Can you guess what that means? Yes, it was time to adopt a new robot. Today’s episode talks about that journey.

I don’t want to give too much away here, but we do discuss two robot vacuums in today’s podcast. The first is the Shark AI Ultra Voice Control Robot Vacuum with Matrix Clean Navigation, Home Mapping, 60-Day Capacity, Self-Empty Base for Homes with Pets, Carpet & Hard Floors (Silver/Black). We unbox it, set it up using the iOS app, and let it begin its initial mapping run.

The second robot is the Roborock Q5 Max+ Robot Vacuum with Self-Empty Dock, Upgraded from Q5+, 5500 Pa Suction, DuoRoller Brush, Hands-Free Cleaning for up to 7 Weeks, PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, App & Voice Control. While we don’t provide setup or vacuum demos for this one, we do thoroughly discuss our thoughts on the pros and cons of both the Roborock and the Shark. We hope you’ll find our tips and impressions helpful if you’re ever in the market for a small but mighty cleaning machine.
