Mixing, Editing and Recording with Mystic Access

In this episode Chris and Kim respond to listener feedback.  Ray is curious  about the type of recording equipment we use for the podcast and tutorials.

We discuss G-recorder for Skype to record the MP3 files.  Chris uses Studio recorder for editing audio,  Kim uses Goldwave for her editing tasks.  We talk about  the Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone for creating tutorials.  The Hosa CMP153 Y Cable 1/8 Inch TRS to Dual 1/4 Inch TS Cable – 3 Ffoot (also available in 10 Foot) for connecting other devices to the Behringer Q802USB 8-Channel Mixer.

The On Stage Foam Ball-Type Mic Windscreen, Black is a good pop filter so the P’s don’t pop.

For podcast recording we use the Logitech ClearChat Comfort / USB Headset H390.

We also recommend the Samson Q2U Handheld Dynamic USB Microphone with Headphones and Accessories  This microphone includes the XLR cable, USB cable and a set of studio monitor head phones.

April 11 is Kims birthday and we are celebrating with a 24 hour sale.  All downloadable tutorials are 12% off accept the Stream tutorial.  The Stream tutorial is $25 off.
